Our line of BEAR TRAIL table wines has been extremely popular.  There is a Bear Trail Red, a Bear Trail Blush, and a Bear Trail White.  We named these wines after our pesky but beautiful resident bear.  Since we are truly in a forested mountain area, it's not surprising that we've had recurring visits from a black bear who obviously had our vineyard property as his territory long before we planted our first vines.  We've put up fences but they simply got knocked down.  Each year our furry friend has come through the vineyard and since we didn't wish to harm him we finally just accepted the situation.  The story is on the label, and take a peek at my picture of him enjoying a glass of wine (on our photo page).  The wines sell for $8.00/bottle at the farmers markets. 

P.S. An update for our bear enthusiast friends:  Although we wish them no harm, we have resorted to putting up an electric wire around the vineyard.  This doesn't harm the animals (not even small animals) but now they go around the fence rather than through it.  It's amazing how clever they are, once they found out the wire was hot there are footprints along the fence but thankfully no more damage.  This seemed to be the best solution for both them and us, your winemakers.
